The Chinese government gets rid of the foreign hardware and software

Had the Chinese feared the same, what are regularly accused, or spying by foreign governments? Or is there another reason for this interesting decision? Tensions between the US and China reach its apogee. Probably about revenge on the United States, because the decision means big losses for US tech giants such as HP, Dell and Microsoft. Therefore, as reported by the Financial Times, in the next 3 years from all government offices and public institutions will disappear Foreign software and equipment. In short, the Chinese government wants to do exactly the same thing as an American, who openly even went to war with Huawei, directly accusing the company of spying in favor of his government.Industry specialists say how, we are just dealing with the onset of the Cold War between China and the United States, in which both sides are trying to convince the world that are the biggest economic power in the world that will set the technological trends for the next 20 years. Anyway, it is the first publicly known Chinese directive which limits the use of foreign technology, which by the way serve the greater purpose of local government, namely a greater reliance on domestic technology. The Financial Times suggests that you need to replace 20 to 30 million units, and the whole process has to start next year. In 2020 will be realized 30% of this number, 50% in the next year, and the action will end the remaining 20% in 2022. Either way, it will not be an easy task, because we are talking about a huge amount of hardware and software, a very short period of implementation, and also additional obstacles, such as lack of a viable alternative to the US operating systems, eg. Windows. The Chinese offices can already meet desktops from Chinese manufacturers, but there is no denying that most of their components, such as processors and hard disk drives, is produced by US companies. In May, Hu Xijin, editor of the newspaper Global Times, suggested, however, that there may enter into action already invoked Huawei. It is rumored for years preparing for war with the United States, so it will be able to take the competition also in terms of hardware. Is this actually going? Time will tell.
